Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This Policy explains what information Round Trip (“Round Trip”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use our software products and services — messenger bots, mobile and web applications and the website round-trip.org (together, the “Products”) — how we use it, who we share it with and what rights you have. An individual Product may have its own privacy notice that supplements this Policy; where they differ, the Product’s notice applies to that Product.
1. General principles
We collect and process only the data needed to keep the Products working, secure and improving. We do not sell or rent personal data.
We aim to process personal data in line with applicable data protection law. Depending on where you are, this may be the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” or other laws.
2. What data we collect
What we collect depends on the Product and on how you use it:
- Account data. If you use a bot or sign in through a third-party platform, we receive only what the platform itself passes on: usually a user identifier, a display name and the interface language. We do not request access to your conversations with other people.
- Service data. Information about your requests to the Product (for example, which link was processed and what action was performed), your plan and its expiry date, and other data without which a request cannot be fulfilled.
- Technical data. Device type, operating system and app version, language, crash reports and anonymized feature usage statistics.
- Server logs. When you access the website and services, servers automatically record your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of access — for security and abuse prevention.
- Payment data. Payments are processed by the app store or a payment service. We do not receive or store your bank card number — only the transaction identifier and its status.
- Support correspondence. If you write to us, we keep your message and the address it came from so that we can reply.
File contents. The files you request are processed in temporary storage and deleted once the request is completed, unless the description of a particular Product says otherwise. We do not link file contents to your profile.
We do not knowingly collect government identifiers, biometric data or other special categories of personal data.
The website round-trip.org requires no registration and has no forms for entering data.
3. Why we use data
We use data to:
- provide the Products and fulfil your requests;
- apply limits, manage subscriptions and check access to paid features;
- find and fix problems, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the Products;
- respond to requests and provide support;
- comply with the law and enforce the License Agreement.
The legal bases for processing are the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in the safe and stable operation of the Products, compliance with legal obligations and, where required, your consent.
We do not use personal data to build advertising profiles for sale to third parties.
4. Analytics and third-party services
Individual Products may use third-party analytics and crash reporting services. They help us understand how the Products are used and may process device identifiers and IP addresses. The specific services in use are listed in the privacy notice of the particular Product. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before enabling optional analytics.
Products that run on third-party platforms (messengers, app stores) are also subject to the privacy policies of those platforms.
The website round-trip.org does not use third-party analytics counters.
5. Who we share data with
We share data only in the following cases:
- with infrastructure and hosting providers that operate our servers and are bound by confidentiality obligations;
- with app stores and payment services — only to process your payments;
- with the analytics services listed in the notice of the particular Product — only for the purposes described in section 4;
- when required by law, a court order or other due legal process, and to protect the rights and safety of Round Trip, users and other people;
- in connection with a reorganization, merger or sale of assets — subject to confidentiality.
We do not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Retention and international transfers
We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, or for as long as the law requires (for example, tax and accounting rules for paid transactions). Anonymized aggregate data that cannot identify you may be kept longer.
The third-party services we use may process data outside your country of residence. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Your rights
Depending on your country of residence, you may have the right to:
- find out what data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- ask us to correct or delete your data;
- object to or restrict certain kinds of processing;
- withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. We may ask for additional information to make sure the request comes from you.
9. Children
The Products are not intended for children under 13 (or another minimum age set in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child has given us their data, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
10. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards: we encrypt data in transit (HTTPS) and restrict access to our servers. However, no method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy. The new version is published at the same address with a new update date. We recommend reviewing it from time to time.
For questions about this Policy and to exercise your rights, write to [email protected].
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights granted to you by mandatory data protection law of your country of residence. In case of conflict, such mandatory rules prevail.
