Refund Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Round Trip (“Round Trip”, “we”, “us”) products are software products and services for processing and transferring data and content (the “Products”). Their paid features are digital services that are activated immediately after payment. Because such a service is intangible and is consumed the moment access is granted, as a general rule all sales are final and non-refundable. This Policy explains where to ask for a refund depending on how you made the purchase, when Round Trip itself issues a refund and when no refund is given. By buying a paid plan or an individual paid feature, you confirm that you have read this Policy and agree to it.
1. Where to ask depends on how you bought
Who handles a refund depends on where the purchase was made:
- purchases in an app store (for example, Google Play or the App Store) are handled by the store itself — see section 2;
- purchases made directly in a Product or on its website are handled by Round Trip — see sections 3 and 6.
2. Purchases in app stores
If a subscription or in-app purchase was made through an app store, the store is the seller for that transaction. It handles refunds under its own rules; Round Trip has no technical means to refund such a transaction or to overturn the store’s decision.
- Google Play: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637
- App Store: https://reportaproblem.apple.com
A subscription bought in a store is cancelled in that store’s subscription settings.
3. Purchases made directly in a Product or on its website
Payments made directly in a Product (including inside a bot) or on the Product’s website are not refunded once the paid feature has been activated on your account: a digital service is provided and consumed immediately. The exceptions are listed in section 6.
4. Why a digital service is not refundable
Paid features of the Products are digital content and digital services that are supplied online and start being provided immediately after payment. By making a purchase, you expressly ask us to start providing the service immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw from the contract once it has started.
This rule is provided for, in particular, by Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (European Union) and Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (United Kingdom). Similar rules apply in other countries.
5. Subscriptions and cancellation
Paid plans may be subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel them.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time: in the store where you bought it or, for direct payments, in the Product itself or by writing to [email protected].
- Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the period already paid for: access remains until it ends.
- We do not give pro rata refunds for unused days of a period that has already started.
- If you do not want the next charge, cancel the subscription before the renewal date.
6. When Round Trip issues a refund
For direct purchases, we will review your request and, if the circumstances are confirmed, issue a refund in the following cases:
- duplicate charge — you were charged twice for the same purchase because of a technical error on our side;
- service not provided — the paid feature was not provided because of an error or outage on our side, and we could not restore it within a reasonable time;
- the purchase was made by a minor without the consent of their legal guardians — subject to supporting evidence;
- unauthorized payment — your payment method was used without your knowledge, as confirmed by your bank or payment service;
- a refund is expressly required by a mandatory rule of the consumer protection law that applies to you.
7. When no refund is given
To avoid misunderstandings: Round Trip does not issue a refund in the cases below.
- You changed your mind or no longer need the subscription, and access has already been granted.
- You did not read the description of the features — it is published in the Product and on its website before purchase.
- A particular piece of material could not be obtained because it was deleted, hidden by privacy settings or restricted by a third-party platform. The Products do not bypass such restrictions and are not sold as a guarantee of access to any specific material.
- You forgot to turn off automatic renewal before the charge date.
- You cancelled a subscription before the end of the paid period — access remains until it ends.
- You did not use all the limits of your plan.
- You lost access to your account or device after the service was provided.
- Connectivity problems, blocks or settings on your side.
- A promotional or discounted purchase, if it was expressly stated at checkout that the purchase is final.
These exclusions do not limit the rights granted to you by mandatory consumer protection law.
8. Payment disputes
Before disputing a payment with your bank, please write to us at [email protected]: most issues are resolved quickly and without a dispute. Disputing a payment for a service that was properly provided may lead to your account being blocked and the remaining paid period being lost.
9. How to request a refund
If your case falls under section 6, write to [email protected] and include:
- the name of the Product and your account identifier in it;
- how you made the purchase (in the Product, on the website, in an app store);
- the transaction identifier or order number and the date;
- a short description of the problem and, if needed, screenshots.
We will review your request within 10 business days of receiving all the details. An approved refund is made by the same method that was used for the payment; the time it takes to arrive depends on your bank or payment service and is usually 3 to 14 business days.
10. Contact
Send questions about this Policy to [email protected]. For purchases made in app stores, please contact the store first.
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights granted to you by mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence. In case of conflict, such mandatory rules prevail.
